“Freedom. Character. Individual Elegance.” The EDUARD DRESSLER man in autumn/winter 2015. Freedom is the prerequisite for becoming who you really are. Character can never be expressed through standardised styles. In autumn/winter 2015 yet again, the EDUARD DRESSLER man knows how to create a highly individual look reflective of his own personal tastes. After all, he’s a man who thinks about where he comes from, appreciates his authenticity and enjoys the reliability of tradition-rich values. At the same time, he enjoys the new and unexpected. He loves the thrill of setting off into a new era, one with new prospects and opportunities – a time of individual elegance.

He identifies with the EDUARD DRESSLER brand, with its values, its elegance and refinement, while fully appreciating its craftsmanship. The 2015 autumn/winter collection provides him with a range of choices for celebrating his own individual elegance – knowingly and effortlessly.

“Autumn is the spring of winter.” That was the compliment bestowed by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec on the season with the prettiest palette. Thanks to its colours for autumn/winter 2015, EDUARD DRESSLER has captured the essence of this magical season. Warming flannel hues and elegant graphite set the tone, stylishly accentuated by elegant wintery blue-grey nuances such as nocturnal blue and pigeon blue. A contrasting accent is ensured by exquisite nuances in camel, resplendent chestnut tones and a deep, masculine olive.

From the very start, the EDUARD DRESSLER style has been known for combining classic elegance with modern comfort. This combination has reached a new high point in the 2015 autumn/winter collection – as can be seen in the Tailoring and the increasingly more refined Casual Wear lines. The boundaries between “official” and “formally casual” are now fluid. For example, Casual Wear jackets are now being finished using the sartorial details normally reserved for a jacket found in the Tailoring line. Another link between the two segments: fabrics from the traditional wear are being given a functional finish and, thus, casually reinterpreted without losing any of their top-drawer look or feel.

EDUARD DRESSLER is interpreting this theme with two exquisite woollen fabrics. Their natural comfort is nothing short of enthralling: lightly flannelled and finely compact.

Exclusively for EDUARD DRESSLER: MAJOR® SUPER 150 WOOL FLANNEL. This extraordinarily fine, soft fabric of pure virgin wool with its soft flannel look is simply captivating thanks to its weight – a mere 250 grams – not to mention its especially comfortable feel, new colours and elegant patterns. LORO PIANA MOOVING® (wool/Lycra): This suit fabric’s comfortable elasticity is made possible by a minimal amount of Lycra.

EDUARD DRESSLER also offers suits made of ESTRATO® natural-stretch materials – both as a lightweight WOOL FLANNEL and as contemporary single-colour fabrics. EDUARD DRESSLER ELEGANT HIGHLANDS

WINTER BOUCLÉ: This segment of the collection includes sophisticated bouclé woollen fabrics which fully reveals its casually elegant nature as an EDUARD DRESSLER Soft Jacket. LORO PIANA DREAM TWEED®: New weaves allow an innovative reinterpretation of classic tweed and result in soft, wintery jackets with a new, exclusive look.

TINTED JACKET: The new “garment-dyed” jacket makes a fascinating statement thanks to its wintertime wooland-cotton composition, not to mention its top-drawer cashmere finish and deep, monochrome nuances.

SHIRT SUIT: Select wool flannels present the modern Shirt Suit’s unmistakeable character to best advantage. The soft Shirt Style processing results in an exclusive lightweight garment, thanks to
the specially chosen outer fabrics.

SHIRT & SOFT JACKET: A new, refined, three-dimensional ESTRATO® fabric gives these garments their stylishly fashionable touch. The interplay of weave, composition and sophisticated colours transforms the innovatively structured wool-and-silk material into something extra special.

SHIRT COAT: In autumn/winter 2015 once again, the Shirt Coat provides fans of unsurpassed lightness with that feeling of incredible comfort.

EDUARD DRESSLER’s undisputed expertise in tailoring trousers is based on decades of experience and a perfect combination of comfort and elegance. In autumn/winter 2015, the trousers’ collection is being updated with a new style, a new modern cut and sophisticated details.
WINTER TROUSERS COTTON: New cotton fabrics, some roughened on the reverse, perfectly express cotton’s wintertime appeal. The trousers are available in solid and two-tone micro-structures, herringbones and glen checks, as well as garment-washed chinos from elastic sateen.
WINTER TROUSERS WOOL: Garments range from “3-D STRETCH” trousers made of a woolelastane blend in a subtle weave, to new variations of classic woollen structures (SUPER 110) in bird’s eye, glen check and houndstooth weaves, to a smooth wool available as a solid or two-tone. Elegantly soft fabrics made of wool and cashmere, perfect for truly special occasions, round out the brand’s line of winter trousers.

EDUARD DRESSLER shirts for autumn/winter 2015 are compelling not only because of their redesigned contemporary fit, but also because of their new, exclusive details – such as French seams, side-seam gussets, hand-sewn buttons, removable collar stays and other features created
using semi-sartorial processes.

The EDUARD DRESSLER tie is what lends that finishing touch to the suit worn by the EDUARD DRESSLER man. In creating his distinctive individual look, he can choose from pure silk, a silk-wool blend or 100% pure wool from Tailoring. Each of the ties is 7.5 cm wide and handmade in Italy.

The new EDUARD DRESSLER scarves have been created to complement the Tailoring and Casual Wear lines in terms of colour, theme and style. Fabrics are pleasantly soft and range from lambswool and a cashmere-wool blend to elegantly pure cashmere. Smart checks, solids and herringbones, not to mention plaids with colour accents, ensure a relaxed, casual look.

The EDUARD DRESSLER Casual Wear line for autumn/winter 2015 is captivating thanks to its stylishly sophisticated combination of sporty masculinity and smart elegance. The technical functionality of the fabrics and the well-thought-out details highlight the relaxed nature of this segment’s garments. In addition to being pleasantly lightweight, each article boasts elaborate tailoring on the inside as well – something EDUARD DRESSLER Casual Wear has become known for.

In addition to the basic three-quarter jacket, a hybrid jacket with nylon insert and a parka with detachable lambskin trim on the hood provide a fashionable twist to this segment of down-filled garments. A charming combination of water-resistant wools and single-colour and printed nylons ensures a relaxed look.

In addition to quilted jackets made of nylon, garments made of a novel fabric from Loro Piana – Zelander wool enhanced with RAINSYSTEM® – also provide extra dash to the new collection. The enhancement process protects top-drawer materials from rain and moisture without compromising their characteristic look or feel. EDUARD DRESSLER is using this innovative fabric to create a field jacket and a jacket with functional features.

“More luxurious than ever” is the only way to describe the EDUARD DRESSLER garments enhanced
with functional STORMSYSTEM® features from Loro Piana. The brand’s designers have turned an
elegant wool-silk blend into a parka with lambskin trim, three-quarter coat with detachable waistcoat
and a coat with a detachable quilted insert.
The collection makes use of another technical fibre in autumn/winter 2015: GORE® WINDSTOPPER®.
EDUARD DRESSLER has tailored this compellingly novel material of the highest functionality into a threequarter
coat and a contemporary trench coat – both unbelievably practical thanks to their detachable,
padded waistcoats made of patterned nylon. This segment is complemented by a casual field jacket with a
comfy quilted lining and sophisticated details, such as real leather and knitted accents.
The male wardrobe has always included one wintertime classic: a jacket with a lambskin collar. In its new
collection, EDUARD DRESSLER gives this garment a contemporary, urban touch. In addition to crisp nylon,
soft wools are available boasting intricate patterns and ranging from lightweight loden to 100% cashmere.
EDUARD DRESSLER offers today’s gentleman a wide range of coats designed with perfectly coordinated
details. He can choose between highest-quality cashmere or camelhair, and from sophisticated patterns
such as herringbone, twill, a tweed look and oversize checks. In terms of styles, EDUARD DRESSLER
presents classic lapel and raglan models, not to mention shorter, trim-cut versions – some with quilted
lining or detachable fur collar. A fashion highlight for creating a style-savvy look is the wintertime Shirt Coat –
unconstructed, unlined, lightweight.
Anyone who wants to travel in style and be immaculately dressed while on the go needs the
proper luggage. In response to the age-old dilemma of “garment bag or suitcase”, EDUARD
DRESSLER knowingly presents the Traveller Bag and Weekender.
With just a few turns, the Traveller Bag can be transformed from a roomy garment bag into a
compact travelling case that offers extra space for shirts, shoes and other travel accessories.
Carefully designed down to the last detail, it is easy to handle, saves time and protects clothing.
Amazingly spacious, it still meets size requirements for carry-on luggage and can thus be taken
onboard aircraft. The Weekender is irresistible thanks to its elegant design, which includes leather
accents, a practical shoulder strap and one especially useful feature: an inner pocket that can be
quickly removed for an airport security check and then reinserted.
Well-thought-out details, stylish design, highest-quality materials, outstanding craftsmanship and
unfailing sturdiness – those are the characteristics that make the Traveller Bag and Weekender
indispensible companions while on the road. There’s no smarter way to travel!
